7    Do Amway Distributors earn income without making any effort?

There is no free lunch in this world. Whenever you start a new job, you have to dedicate time and effort to learn. Although you can get your job done easier once you become experienced but it does not imply that you do not need to work. It is like in any company, a junior staff has to work hard to familiarize with his work. The boss may not need to perform basic and routine duties and has more flexibility in managing his time, but he carries heavy workload and responsibility in order to achieve effective management. Running the Amway business is the same.

When Distributors start their business, they have to spend a lot of time on retailing. As they gain more experience, Amway will encourage them to spend more time and effort on training and mentoring Downline Distributors by rewarding them extra income determined by both their personal sales performance and the sales performance of Downline Distributors. They have to make extra effort to expand their sales network in addition to retailing. Hence, they bear heavier workload and responsibility. Distributors may have to focus on specific tasks at different stages, but no Distributor can earn income without making any effort.
