Upon joining Amway, every Distributor will be informed of the Amway rules of conduct and the legal aspects of operating a business in the local market. If a Distributor violates the rules, Amway will take disciplinary action as stated in the rules of conduct. For serious cases, Amway will terminate the distributorship of the Distributor who breaches the rules.

When a Distributor advances to a new pin level, his business conduct will also be taken into consideration. Amway considers disciplinary actions not the ultimate goal but a measure to maintain an orderly market environment and protect the overall interests of its sales force.

Apart from Amway's rules of conduct, all Hong Kong Distributors are obliged to comply with the code of conduct set by the Hong Kong Direct Selling Association.
